Are you doing everything you can to capitalize on what may be 50 % of the residential real estate market in the United States in 2009? National experts predict Distressed Properties such as REO’s, Foreclosures and Short Sales could be AT LEAST 50 % of the real estate market in 2009, and in some markets as high as 80% of all transactions.
RE/MAX University is coming to New Jersey. You can earn the CDPE or Certified Distressed Property Expert Designation in New Jersey on July 21st and 22nd. This program will teach you how to capitalize on working with Lenders and Buyers on the more than 2-million distressed property transactions expected to take place this year.
After a $200 subsidy from RE/MAX International, the cost to register is only $399. Additionally the first 100 RE/MAX of New Jersey Associates to register will receive a $100 rebate from the Region after completing the course.

Now An Official Registered Trademark
The RE/MAX Commercial logo has been refined and is now a registered trademark. As of July 1, 2009, RE/MAX International will require that the new trademark compliant RE/MAX Commercial logo be used.
No other versions of the logo, property sign and business card may be used after that date. Details about the change can be found on pages 37-40 in the 13th edition of the RE/MAX Trademark and Graphic Standards manual.

Make Your Opinion Known
Recently, an email was sent out from the New Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) that stated Governor Jon Corzine recently announced plans to eliminate the ability for all non-senior households, regardless of income, to deduct property taxes from their state tax filings for one year.
We felt this was important to highlight this proposed legislation in order for you to reach out to our lawmakers to urge them to oppose the elimination of property owners’ ability to deduct property taxes from their state filings. Please take action on this issue by sending a message to our state officials. |

RE/MAX International just released the new Trademark and Graphic Standards Manual. This manual outlines the standards for proper usage of the RE/MAX trademarks in everyday communication and marketing activities for Agents.
