Remember that New Years resolution to enhance your presence on the Internet? We've got a great way for you to keep it!

Today’s Tech Tip: Update your RE/MAX Mainstreet Info

RE/MAX Mainstreet has just announced that you can electronically update personal contact information, personal highlights  and your picture - at no charge - via their Online Profile Form. These updates will be published on www.remax.com, www.remax.net (Mainstreet) and the quarterly RE/MAX Roster Explorer CD. Only about 10 % of the agents in NJ have ever enhanced this profile and those that have tell the helpdesk staff that they have seen an increase in the number of referrals that they have received.

All you need to do is log in to
RE/MAX Mainstreet at www.remax.net . (A different username and password than you use for www.remax-nj.com ).  If you have never registered to Mainstreet before, just click on the “This is my first visit to Mainstreet” link and follow the prompts. If you have logged on before and don’t remember your username and password just click on the “I’ve forgotten my Password” link and follow the instructions. You can also call 888-398-7171 for registration assistance.

Once you are logged in, just click on the “My User Profile” link located at the top right hand side of the screen then click on the “Update My Profile” link. This will take you to a page telling you about the new service and a link to “Update Your Profile”. Once you click on this link, the form will open and allow you to make changes to your profile. Help screens are available, as well as guidelines for the information you provide. Text changes normally take 3 - 5 business days and photo changes take 7 - 10 business days, but there might be initial delays as users worldwide rush to take advantage of this new tool. Referral Roster CDs are published quarterly and the next deadline is 03/15/04 so you need to do this now if you want to make the next CD.
