When transferring offices be sure to back up your contact information from the regional web site. Nobody wants to leave RE/MAX, but if you do, be sure to take your contacts with you.

TODAY’S TECH TIP: Your Leads - Your Responsibility.

You wouldn’t leave your daybook behind when moving from a broker office; don’t leave your web contacts behind either.

It is a simple matter to make a backup copy of your web contact information.  Your RE/MAX of New Jersey sponsored personal website has a built in utility that allows you to export your contacts to an Excel Spreadsheet.  After logging into the Website Management System, navigate to the Clients Section and click on Contact List. There is an export option at the bottom of the page. Choose “File, Save As” and select the Excel Spreadsheet file type.

If you are transferring form one office to another, make sure that your new office has received all of your paperwork.  The timely processing of this paperwork is critical, and the follow-up responsibility is yours.  If the transfer paperwork was processed in a timely manner there should be no problem with the transfer of your regional web site pages.  Contact your Broker to be sure the change of office has been submitted to the RE/MAX of New Jersey Regional office.

In some instances, associates are inadvertently terminated during the transfer process. When an associate has been terminated by a broker office, their website is put in a hold status and is not accessible. After 14 days, the website is permanently deleted and all contacts and personalization will be unrecoverable. If you find that you do not have access to your website and are still an active agent, please contact the Regional Help Desk immediately to keep your site from being deleted.

By logging in and keeping track of your website on a regular basis, you can avoid any problems when transferring from one office to another.
